The 5 Levels
Learning Dutch isn't just about studying—it’s about building a foundation step by step. That’s where our 5 Levels come in.
-
📌
Each level guides your tutoring sessions—covering essential grammar, key vocabulary, and real-life skills like counting, telling time, and basic conversations
-
📌
The Levels include more than just lessons: prompts, challenges, and immersion habits to keep you active outside of sessions.
-
📌
Your tutor-coach adjusts the pace and focus based on your progress—no rigid timelines, just steady improvement.

Level 1
Meet Dutch From A to Z
What’s inside:
- Pronunciation basics—where to place your tongue, how to tackle that guttural “G.”
- Get comfortable speaking, plus get familiar with reading simple words in Dutch.
- Zero intimidation—just playful, newbie-friendly Dutch.

Level 2
Jump in & Speak Up
What’s inside:
- Speaking short, functional sentences rather than reciting random vocab lists.
- Enough grammar to keep you afloat, not drowning.
- Start Incorporating a bit more Dutch in your Daily life.

Level 3
Dutch One Word at a Time
What’s inside:
- A broader range of verbs, so you can talk about your day (and maybe brag about your new Dutch skills).
- More real-life practice challenges: from mini-chats with friends to short phone calls in Dutch.
- A sprinkle of grammar that helps you form longer, more natural sentences.

Level 4
Expand & Explore
What’s inside:
- Deeper conversations around daily topics—work, hobbies, maybe some jokes in Dutch if you dare!
- Refining that accent and flow, so you don’t hesitate mid-sentence.
- Missions outside your comfort zone: writing short texts, negotiating at a local market, you name it.

Level 5
Going Full Circle
What’s inside:
- Advanced dialogues—casual slang, nuanced expressions, and picking up on typical Dutch humor (yes, it exists!).
- Less “practice,” more “living” Dutch, because you’re basically in the deep end now.
- Prep for the real world: from meeting new people to watching local shows without subtitles.
